For 30 years, I had the great honor of serving as an astronaut. It has been the adventure of a lifetime. I have seen our planet from orbit, watched the thin blue line of the atmosphere glow against the blackness of space, and looked down at Earth with a sense of wonder that never went away. Of all the worlds in our solar system, ours is the most beautiful. It is our home, our spaceship, and our shared responsibility. From the International Space Station, you see no borders. You see oceans, clouds, cities, mountains, storms, sunrises, and the fragile brilliance of life itself. It makes you believe even more deeply in humanity — in our ability to work together, solve hard problems, explore farther, and become better.

Now it is time for me to give back and share the adventure, the lessons learned, and the perspective that comes from a life in human spaceflight. Through EMF Aerospace LLC, I look forward to helping companies, startups, universities, and mission-driven teams as a speaker and advisor. I want to help leaders build trust, manage risk, inspire their teams, and reach higher. Spaceflight teaches us that hard things are possible when people bring courage, preparation, humility, ingenuity, and optimism to the mission. That is a lesson worth sharing.

I also created this website in less than five hours using Claude Code and ChatGPT. That amazes me. We are living in an extraordinary time. The same human creativity that builds spacecraft, trains astronauts, and explores other worlds is now giving us new tools to build, communicate, learn, and dream faster than ever before. Let’s use that ingenuity well. Let’s explore the solar system, care for our beautiful planet, and keep reaching for the stars.

Ad astra per laborem, ingenium humanum, spemque constantem. To the stars through hard work, human ingenuity, and enduring hope.
